This course will enable you to build basic knowledge for practical experimentation in three dimensional
cartesian space for the creation, improvement or reshaping architectural environment.
At the end of this course you will be able to create custom commands, user‐interfaces, batch processes to extend Maya’s (or simply computers) initial capabilities. master principles of 3D modeling,
master polygonal and NURBS modeling in Maya via scripting and graphic user interface,
understand basics of scripting/programming and interpret design processes with
parameters and algorithms in Maya’s MEL (Maya Embedded Language) able to center Maya system in further DCC (Digital Content Creation) able to have basic knowledge and skills to give a “jump‐start” to other scripting languages.
